Video Wall Controller

   Technovision Interactive Inc. has added Pioneer video wall processor and cube commands to its KPC-2 compact controller.
The 'PWALL' system includes a KPC2 controller and firmware that controls a Pioneer RM-V3109 videowall processor. The videowall processor is not included in the PWALL package and can be purchased from a local Pioneer Industrial dealer. Using a KPC2 with a videowall processor, the operator can, by pressing a single button, switch between full 3 by 3 expansion or 2 by 2 expansion with 5 individual video images on the 9 screen video wall.

Standard Mode:
Upon power-up, the Technovision KPC-2 will put the wall processor in full 3 by 3 expansion and switch the input on all the cubes to RGB. The LED within the button will be off to indicate that the unit is in standard mode.
Alternate Mode:
When the button is pressed, the KPC-2 will put the processor into 2x2 expansion (from the upper left corner) and will select NTSC (or Y/C) as the input mode on the rest of the monitors. The LED within the button will flash as the commands are being transmitted then remain lit to indicate Alternate Mode. The operator may switch to standard mode by pressing the button.

'PCUBE' firmware operation:
(for use with the Pioneer RM-V1000 NU Video Wall)
The 'PCUBE' firmware allows for the switching of inputs (between RGB and NTSC/YC) on the individual cubes alone.
PCUBE Standard Mode:
PCUBE
The RGB signal (from the processor) is selected on each individual cube. This produces a single image that is spread across all 4 cubes.
PCUBE Alternate Mode:
PCUBE
The NTSC (or Y/C) input signal is selected on each individual cube. This produces individual images on each cube.
